Neuropathy Care

Neuropathy

Peripheral Neuropathy is a nervous system disorder that shows up as numbness, tingling, stinging, sensitivity and pain in the hands and feet. Neuropathy has many causes but poor circulation is a common factor. LED Light Therapy can increase blood flow to tissues promoting the body's ability to heal damaged nerves and often relieving symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy caused by poor circulation. Our convertible Boot 122 pad is frequently used for relief of the symptomatic pain of neuropathy.

Neuropathy Pain

Neuropathy pain frequently interrupts sleep in the early morning hours. Neuropathy often interferes with walking and many daily activities affecting the quality of life.

Neuopathy Sensation

Sensation problems associated with neuropathy often develop slowly and frequently worsen over time. It is wise to seek medical advice and diagnosis to explore options for treatment. Light therapy is a cornerstone of many neuropathy programs in clinical settings because if it's ability to increase blood flow.

Infrared and red light trigger the release of nitric oxide from blood vessels and red blood cells in the area directly under the light therapy pads. Improving blood flow and delivery of oxygen to the nerves with our light therapy Boot 122 pads may help nerves to begin to carry sensations again when the cause of neuropathy is related to poor circulation. Nitric oxide causes vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels) that lasts several hours after the therapy. Improvements in neuropathy pain typically occur gradually over weeks of regular therapy. A less frequent maintenance schedule is usually advised following a series of therapy sessions to maintain the improved sensation by continuing to support circulation.

Neurocare Systems Boot 122 Pads feature red and near-infrared inset diodes for greater comfort because protruding diodes can cause discomfort for those with nerve sensitivity. Pad edges are bound for an attractive finished look and durability. Blue facing fabric, Black Velcro receptive fabric on the reverse. All of our controllers include the automatic "N" Neurocare program for easy neuropathy therapy.
Additional pads such as the Local 132 and Body 264 may be added to the system to support the lower back (L4/5 - nerves and blood vessels exit the spine to the legs and feet) and can also be used for many other purposes including strong relief for arthritis pain, muscle pain and spasms, wellness and more.
Make Therapy Easy and ConvenientSet equipment up in a basket or on a table next to a comfortable chair. Many people like to put their feet up or use a recliner. Just relax or use the time watching television or doing another seated activity. Many additional options can be used in clinical settings. We recommend setting up therapy stations, or a mobile carts with all components easily accessible for use in multiple locations.
Easy To UseTherapy for neuropathy pain is easy to administer. Our automatic frequency program makes it simple to do. You will receive detailed instructions that answer every common question and we are available after you begin therapy to assist you.
Neuropathy therapy should be comfortable. Many LED pads have protruding diodes that can be uncomfortable and even painful for some users. Neurocare Systems uses powerful diodes that are inset into the pad. Because the light emanates from the end of the LED in a narrow aperture no light is blocked from entering the tissues. This is a big plus for those with skin that is sensitive to pressure and around the ankle bone area.
